What were they thinking? Every red carpet event is a fashion test and while some pass in flying colours, others fail, woefully.
The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2014 were no different and just as some celebrities made the best dressed list, others just didn’t get it right, at least in our opinion.
Here they are:
Uche Jombo We are not sure what exactly is going on with Uche Jombo on the red carpet but she just hasn’t been getting it right. The dress would have looked amazing but her pose and facial expression are just all sorts of wrong. |
Uti Nwachukwu Uti has always been known for his bravery in pushing the boundaries of fashion and getting away with it. This time however, he pushed a bit too far. |
Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha There just seems to be too much going on with Chioma’s dress. The black zip, the sheer back, black spatters at the bottom and the slice of black in the middle of the dress just look like the work of an overeager designer. |
Yemi Alade Yemi’s dress is a beautiful one but it’s ill-fitting. There’s too much room around the bustline causing the cleavage “V” to zig-zag and leaving pockets of space in the arm holes, also what’s that we see under her dress? |
Ireti Doyle We love Mrs. Doyle but this dress just doesn’t do her any justice. The brown detailing at the top of the dress just steals way from its glamour and dampens the look. |
