The State Minister for Environment survives lynching In Uganda


The State Minister for Environment Flavia Munaaba along with her team from the ministry alongside district leaders from the Elgon region and the police were chased and survived lynching when they visited Namatala wetland in Mbale district. Locals set upon them with stones, clubs, sticks, pangas claiming that they had come to grab their land. The drama unfolded hours after the Minister launched the Frame Management Plan for Doho-Namatala Wetland System for eight districts at Bungokho sub county Mbale district. WATCH VIDEO
