APC Zones Vice Presidency To South-West.

**Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Shops For Nominee.

**Poor support from South East, South South and North central knocked them out for consideration in both VP and President.

After their numerious meetings in the United Kingdom, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has zoned its Vice Presidential slot to the South West while the Northern part of the country is to produce the presidential candidate of the party in 2015.

The main sponsor and National leader of the APC, Senator Bola Tinubu have abandoned his rumoured vice presidency bid and is now preoccupied to anointing any person from the South West as the VP candidate to team the Presidential candidate from the North, hopefully Maj Gen Muhammadu Buhari.

The APC party leaders crunched to to ignore candidates from the South East and South South as they agreed that the party have a very slim chance in the tow Zone.

This was the reason the Imo state Governor who have the VP ambition made a u-turn last week to declare his interest for a second term.

The North central according to the Party has little chance the produced the Presidential candidate as allocated to the North, as the party's support is slightly weak and not considering the North East and North West may anger, both Maj Gen Buhari, who have already declared his interest and Ali Modu Sheriff who is a power broker and Party's Chairman of Board of Trustee.

The South West APC is working on the condition that whoever is to be nominated for the VP position, should be a Christian. This will help to cushion the insinuations that the party is Nigerian first Islamic party or bunch of Islamic fundamentalists.

This condition knocks out the favoured Lagos State governor, Raji Fashola chance of picking the Vice Presidency and all the four incumbent South West Governors.

The South West Kingmaker, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his inner circle are said to have subsequently crafted criteria to be used in making the nomination from the zone.

The conditions are that the nominee must be a Christian grounded in the politics of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), that he or she must have served in senior governmental capacity like minister, governor or senator and that he must have national name appeal.
