If it is the mother that did this, she must be prepared for great consequenses on this wicked act. A little girl (pictured after the cut) was found yesterday, at about 5:30pm, dead in a canal close to the main gate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka in Lagos.
The girl, barely a year old, was dead already by the time she was found. And eyewitnesses suspect she was thrown into the canal cos she had injuries all over her little body, with flies, ants perching and running all over her. Authorities at the scene, Mr Oluwole Isaac of the Lagos State Environment Health Monitoring Unit (LSEHMU), confirmed they will drop her corpse at a police station although he did not specify which.
This isn't the first time a dead baby will be found in this canal. Sometime in 2012, a two-week old baby boy,
still with the placenta, was found dead in this same canal near the University of Lagos (UNILAG). See pics after the cut:
